What gets measured gets managed.
Basically if you don't keep track of something, it won't change! Tracking what you're doing will help you measure and SEE your progress, which will help with motivation.
Assess Progress
Like counting calories or steps, keeping up with a system to track progress requires self discipline but will soon become a habit if you do it consistently.
Motivation is a huge concern for most people. It's tough to work at a long-term goal, especially if the progress you're making is really small. Being able to see the progress you're making in some tangible way (achieving pre-set milestones, seeing a crossed-off checklist every morning, etc.) will help

Questions to ask yourself: Is tracking my progress simple and easy to do? Is there somewhere I can look to see my progress? Should I make smaller, short-term goals? What can I do to motivate myself? Are there any resources that will help me make or track my progress? |
Milestone Examples
Can be time- (deadline) or event- (progress) focused. SMART Goal: "I will get As in all of my 3rd MP classes."
